I really want to vote for Kasai this year. Have to see if I can spare the vote. But poor chiyuu’s been falling the wrong direction in the elections, from 10th in 2009, to 12th in 2010, to last year 16th. Senbatsu shrinks from 21 down to 16 this year which is kind of scary, although last year she did get 16th by a considerable margin over Sayaka at 17. I suppose the best thing going for her is actually Acchan not participating this year giving her a bit of a cushion, which is also kind of ironic given their close friendship. I’m actually afraid fans are forgetting about her and/or taking her presence for granted. She more than just a cute face, and a cute voice, and the cute-sexy character, but also an amazing performer with a big heart.
